Zwykłe wody podziemne w zachodniej części polskich Karpat fliszowych

This paper presents the importance of spring areas of the Flysch Carpathians for the management of groundwater resources. Quaternary, Palaeogene, Palaeogene-Cretaceous and Cretaceous groundwater reservoirs have been characterised. Based on the performed studies It is evidenced that the Quaternary groundwater reservoirs of the upper Vistula, Biala, Sola and Skawa rivers. With regards to water quality, the aquifers of theflysch rocks comprising sandstone-shale series of the Godula, Magura, Istebna and Krosno beds are the most excellent.
