Charakterystyka mikroemulsji wytwarzanej w pętlicowym reaktorze dwukolumnowym

Emulsions containing water and paraffin oil are obtained in the internal loop two-column reactor with agitation in the draft-tube as a riser. The continuous water phase circulation velocity increases with an increase of the propeller diameter. Flow of emulsions is similar to the plug flow. The phase inversion is proceeded by the formation of multiple emulsion. Droplet size distributions show a bimodal characteristic. The maxima are observed for several tens nanometers and for a few micrometers of the droplet size,
