Wyznaczanie współczynnika oporu dla cząstek izometrycznych swobodnie zawieszonych w strumieniu cieczy

The values of resistance coefficient, λ for spheres, cubes and isometric cylinders made of benzoic acid were measured. Particles were falling down with the velocity equal to this of the stream. At the temperature range t = 5-50°C, and for Re = 100÷ 40 000 the following values of the resistance coefficient were obtained: λ - 0,49÷0,54 for spheres; &lamda;- 0,80÷0,85 forcylinders and &lamda; ÷ 0,80÷0,90 for cubes.
