The studies on mass transfer processes in a gas-liquid system agitated using two impellers on a common shaft

The aim of experimental studies was to investigate mass transfer process in a gas - liquid system agitated using two impellers. The volumetric gas — liquid mass transfer coefficients ku, were measured tor two systems of high-speed impellers (Kushton turbine - A 315 and Rushton turbine - Smith turbine) operating in a tall vessel of diameter equal to D = 0.288 m. The k Lo, coefficient was determined by the dynamic method.

Celem pracy była analiza eksperymentalna procesu wymiany masy w układzie ciecz-gaz mieszanym w zbiorniku z dwoma mieszadłami na wspólnym wale. Pomiary przeprowadzono w zbiorniku o średnicy D = 0.288 m. dla dwóch konfiguracji mieszadeł. W obu jako górne stosowano mieszadło turbinowe Riishlona. a jako dolne turbinowe Smilha lub A 315. Pomiary współczynnika ku, przeprowadzono metodą dynamiczna.
