Model małej społeczności informacyjnej w Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej

Przedstawiono rozwijaną na terenie kampusu akademickiego AGH eksperymentalną sieć teleinformartyczną, eksploatowaną na potrzeby głównie studentów i pracowników uczelni, rozważanych jako 'mała społeczność informacyjna'. Omówiono zasięg sieci, jej wyposażenie techniczne i informacyjne oraz możliwości użytkowe. Zaprezentowano wyniki obserwacji praktycznego zastosowania sieci oraz plany dalszych badań prowadzonych nad opisywanym eksperymentem.

The paper presents an experimental tele-computer network developed over the area of academic campus of Academy of Mining and Metallurgy. The network is designed to the students and personnel of the Academy, seen as 'small information community'. The range and technical equipment, as well as information resources and utility possibilities are described. Results of observations of practical exploitation and usage and plans of further research concerning the experiment are sketched.
