Preparation of transition metal mixed oxides (ferrites)

The results of the investigation of the precipitation of the transition metal mixed oxides are reported. The ferrites with the spinel structure were synthesized by an oxidative precipitation method from the solution of iron (II) sulphate and zinc (II) or nickel (II) sulphate in a circulatory reactor at the temperature 60°C. There were ZnFe2O4 and NiFe2O4 prepared. On the basis of the received results, it was checked which of the reaction order can represent the rate of oxidation reaction well. The statistics of regression, the analysis of variance and the analysis of the rest of the components were conducted. The obtained products were investigated with the help of the X - ray fluorescence spectrometry and the X - ray diffraction analysis.
