Thyristor inverter with series-parallel resonant circuit

The article analyses a thyristor inverter including a series-parallel resonant circuit, to be applied in induction heating. The state variables method is applied to present a mathematical model of the system. Procedures of MATLAB software are used to calculate waveforms of inverter currents and voltages. A method of designing the main circuit components is defined and results of Simplorer-based simulation tests involving 120kW inverter are presented.

W artykule dokonano analizy tyrystorowego falownika z szeregowo-równoległym obwodem rezonansowym do zastosowania w grzejnictwie indukcyjnym. Przedstawiono model matematyczny obwodu rezonansowego przy zastosowaniu metody zmiennych stanu. Wykorzystano procedury programu MATLAB do obliczania przebiegów prądów i napięć występujących w falowniku. Podano metodę projektowania elementów obwodu głównego oraz przedstawiono wyniki badań symulacyjnych falownika o mocy 120kW w oparciu o program Simplorer.
