T-shaped woven fabrics that would serve as composite reinforcement were designed and created out of glass fibre. Textile samples were created that would change their structural parameters: density of weft and the width of individual shape elements. In order to obtain the composites, polyester raisin based on polystyrene was used. T-shaped woven fabrics' resistance to bending was then tested and the influence of structural parameters of the textile on mechanical properties of composites was evaluated.
