Wpływ odzieży chirurgicznej na obciążenie termiczne chirurgów. Cz. III

All people who work in health service or laboratory are exposed to pathogen bacterial or biological material which could be found with blood and body fluids. In the operation room, the basic barrier against damage from biological material is surgeon's gown. The gown protects the medical staff as well as the patient. The paper reports the research results of an influence (3 different) surgeon's clothing on the physiological and physical parameters (on 5 subjects), such as skin temperature, sweat rate, relative humidity and temperature in space between skin and clothing layers, as well as surgeon's subjective sensations: moisture at skin and in clothing, and thermal comfort. The main problem with this gown is high temperature and high relative humidity in space between skin and clothing layers near heart. It manages to feel discomfort what could be cause some mistakes. Obtain effects showed us that there aren't any different between gowns. All parameters have similar value (with their deviations).
