The article presents the concept of electric drive for the car, powered with innovative engine Speer regulation system of brushless motor with permanent magnets. The project of the drive is realized by Silesian University of Technology and Research and Development Centre of Electrical Machines KOMEL. Described inverter circuit equipped with additional electronic key system is able to regulate the number of turns of the engine by switching power supply between the end of the armature windings and detach derived from winding. Such regulation of the number of turns in the machine makes possible to control motor speed directly and proportionately. In the following sections, authors describe the capabilities of using new innovative control system for drives with BLDC motor. In this paper some results of design calculation are shown. Authors prezent a 3D model of designed BLDC motor.
