Model - Based diagnostics in rotating machinery

In the work indicator are the capabilities of computer analysis in optimization and diagnostics of technical objects such as power industry turbosystems. Based in the developed dynamical models of such objects conducted has been an analysis of the influence of selected design parameters on the static and dynamic properties of the object. Presented examples refer to the real objects operating in Poland and abort, and the conclusions stemming from the conducted analysis have been implemented in practise. This fact indicates undoubtedly the possibilities of application of advanced computer analysis in exploitation of such large technical objects. In the work presented is also a general discussion on the constraints linked to the modeling and mathematical description of different objects, not only of the power industry type.
