Rys historyczny pożarów podziemnych w ostatnim 60-leciu polskiego górnictwa węglowego

W artykule przypomniano definicję pożaru w świetle obowiązujących przepisów oraz przedstawiono statystyczne ujęcie pożarów kopalnianych w ostatnim (prawie) 60-leciu. W oparciu o charakterystyczne uwarunkowania występujące w pierwszym 15-leciu nakreślono wirtualną kopalnią i wymieniono zasadnicze przyczyny powstawania pożarów. Omówiono też najistotniejsze przyczyny, które spowodowały zdecydowane zmniejszenie liczby pożarów, podkreślając przy tym znaczenie kolejno zmienianych przepisów. Na koniec zobrazowano ostatnie 10-lecie górnictwa węgla kamiennego w aspekcie zaistniałych pożarów, między innymi według miejsc ich wystąpienia i przyczyn.

The paper recalls definition of a fire with regard to the regulations in force as well as presents the statistic overview of fires at coal mines over the recent nearly 60 years. On the background of typical exploitation condition as had occurred during the first 15 years of the considered period an abstractive (virtual) mine is depicted and major reasons for underground fires are listed. Moreover, the most significant improvements that have resulted in reduction of fires are discussed with special stress on importance of regulation amendments that were subsequently put into practice. Finally, the image of the recent 10 years in the mining industry is depicted in the aspect of fires occurred, with their breakdown by reasons and by locations where the fires went off.
