W procesie przygotowywania wniosków o zatwierdzenie uchwał Rad Wydziałów o nadanie stopnia naukowego doktora habilitowanego, a także tytułu naukowego profesora występuje sporo nieścisłości i dlatego wydaje się zasadne umożliwienie absolwentom tych kierunków, ubiegania się o uprawnienia niektórych prac z zakresu geodezji i kartografii.

In the process of application preparation for approval of faculty Councils resolution for conferment of an assistant professor degree and for the professor's title numerous inaccuracies exist. It seems sensible to present this problem for the interested bodies. Taking into consideration the necessity of technical education system modernisation and improvement, as well as convergence of the "Geodesy and Cartography" specialisation syllabus with related specialisations, it seems reasonable to allow graduate students of these specialisation to gain professional autority for performing works from the field of "Geodesy and Cartography".
