Obliczenia strat i przelotności w przepływach przez stopnie w projektowaniu turbin parowych
The article presents the methodology of determining loss and flow rate coefficients, which are usually used in the process of steam turbine blading system design. In the article, the above flow coefficients were determined from CFD calculations based on the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations and verified in experimental tests. The calculations were performed in steady-state and unsteady variants, differing by the relative rotor/stator motion being taken into account or not. Having been calculated in 3D, the flow coefficients were then incorporated in ID and 2D turbine design codes, which considerably shortened their calculation times, at the same time preserving their high accuracy.
