Forming a new quality of housing environment in 19th c. Housing complexes in Holland

Space is psychologically needed by every human, it creates frames of our life. Architecture may create specific character of our humour, feelings, functional rhythm of life through its suitable forms. The author tries to answer the question of what kind of housing environment we should demand, which could be a suitable part of human living conditions. Due to technical development and urbanization the relation "man and his place of living" is changing all the time, often with a great loss for them.
