The tendency to possess individually designed goods, fitted to suit psycho-physical characteristics of the client and his/her personal needs, increases with the level of education and financial status and manifests itself in a desire to participate in their creation process. This issue concerns residential architecture as well, which due to the function it fulfills, most frequently occurs among other building industry divisions. This could be the reason why tending towards individualization of form and structure connected to a specific meaning, to an external shape of architect's work, is very strongly expressed in the case of single residential dwellings, the specific technical and economical character of which is the most susceptible to expression of individual needs and psychological characteristics of the user. The modern technology allows accomplishing each one of the architect's designs, even the most daring one, or possibly even a crazy one and very often economy is the ultimate regulator of the sensible choice. The houses which seam to be futuristic today, tomorrow could become a living standard and a suitable reason for this condition may be ever-changing technology.
