The essence and criticism of the organization on the edge concept
Article presents one of the most fundamental model of organization's management, which exploits chaos theory as a metaphor - Brown and Eisenhardt model. The main concept of the model is the edge of chaos idea. In the article the critical analysis of the model is presented, as well as controversies referring to using the concept of organizational balance between extremely different organizational states.
W artykule przedstawiono jeden z podstawowych modeli zarządzania organizacją, wykorzystujący teorię chaosu jako swoistą metaforę - model Brown i Eisenhardt. Główną kategorią modelu jest krawędź chaosu. W artykule przeprowadzono analizę krytyczną modelu, zidentyfikowano kontrowersje związane z wykorzystywaniem pojęcia równowagi pomiędzy skrajnie różnymi rozwiązaniami organizacyjnymi.
