Exploitation and applicating research on surveying system of pyromagnetic effect during rupture process of PVC sheet with defects

The paper introduces the exploitation of a surveying system which automatically follows the peak value of pyromagnetic effect, including the hardware of a single chip processor, a set of servo-mechanism etc., and the system software of data collecting program, data handler etc. Using it, breaking tension test under various strain-rate on PVC sheet samples with distributed micro-bores is conducted. The magnetic induction sensor automatically follows the peak value of magnetic induction density. The experimental results show that the exploitation of the surveying system is successful. During the rapture process of rheological material PVC sheet with defects, owing to the existence of internal temperature gradient leads to the occurrence of pyromagnetic effect in the fracture process zone at crack tip.
