Analysis of tribological wear of the elements with unconventional two-component sliding surface
The paper presents results of the tests concerning tribological wear of sliding elements provided with two-component steel-copper surface layer. It has been found that tribological wear of the specimens, which surface were modified with copper, as compared to plain ground specimens was reduced by 83,5% in the case of concentrated contact and by 72% in the case of distributed contact. Furthermore it has been found that after tribological tests there are differences in chemical composition of specimen surface layer depending on particular machining condition.
