W artykule ukazano znaczenie wiedzy dla organizacji funkcjonujących w coraz bardziej złożonym otoczeniu. Zwrócono uwagę na różne ograniczenia ale także i na możliwości skutecznego zarządzania wiedzą. Wśród wielu możliwości wskazano również na redefinicję ról podstawowych podmiotów tworzących wiedzę w organizacji.
