Evaluation of the safety of ship entrance to a port - model-based research

This article presents relationship between swept path breadth of the vessels entering port and the ships' overaIl length and ship's breadth. This relationship was determined from statistical methods with the use the multi-stage research aimed to determine parameters of a maximum size ship that can safely enter the port of Swinoujscie. In this article was defined the basic condition of safely enter the port, which make possible basis of swept path breath defined a maximum parameters of a vessel that can safely to do enter the port manoeuvre.

W pracy określono zależność między szerokością pasa ruchu a długością i szerokością statków wchodzących do portu. Zależność tą określono przy zastosowaniu metod statystycznych, wykorzystując wynik wieloetapowych badań symulacyjnych dotyczących określenia maksymalnych statków mogących wchodzić do Portu Świnoujście. Zdefiniowano podstawowy warunek bezpiecznego wejścia do portu, który umożliwia na podstawie znajomości szerokości pasa ruchu określenie maksymalnych parametrów statku mogącego bezpiecznie wykonać manewr wejścia.
