Simulation studies of new solutions of wheelchairs

The subject of the article is the idea of construction, modelIing and simulation studies of the new generation, mechatronical wheelchair. The wheelchair is going to be adapted for driving on various surfaces. The important feature of it is going to be the possibility of obstacle overcoming, such as doorstep of the maximaI height of 200 mm. The construction model and simulation studies were carried out in the environment of MBS ADAMS package. The algorithm of controlling of doorstep entry was proposed and the analysis of parametrical sensitivity of the construction was done.

W pracy dokonano przeglądu literatury i wyników badań naukowych dotyczących transportu osób niepełnosprawnych ruchowo. Przedstawiono własną koncepcję konstrukcji wózka pokonującego przeszkody typu krawężnik czy schody o wysokości do 200 mm. Opisano algorytm pokonywania przeszkód. Przyjęto założenia do budowy układu sterowania. Przedstawiono założenia do budowy modeli symulacyjnych. Określono zakres parametrów zmienianych. Przedstawiono wstępne wyniki badań symulacyjnych.
