Leadership in digital technology conditions
This article contains a reflection on the subject of leadership in market organizations, the direction and dynamics of its change with specific consideration of information technology application. Leadership is a skillful balance between two dimensions of an organization: the social and the technical. What brings success to the leader is an ability to notice and understand change, to cope with their vehemence, to mobilize supporters towards innovation. To use the language of information technology, leadership in an organization is an un-directed dialogue of an digital era innovator. Analyses from empirical studies are a good illustration for theoretical musings.
