Corporate social responsibility (CSR) versus ethical issues of the contemporary Polish Organizations in view of SA 8000 implementation

The paper discusses the so far implemented prerogatives of certain institutions - CSR participants versus the research with respect thereof. The analysis of the discussion being carried on within the forum of EU institutions points out to the desired directions of CSR development, which are convergent with the idea of sustainable development and implementation of the Lisbon Strategy. In view of the above the paper analyzes assumptions of one of the CSR instrument that has been rather less seldomly applied by institutions in Poland, namely SA 8000 norm.

W artykule omówiono dotychczasowe prerogatywy organizacji - uczestników CSR, na tle badań naukowych w tym zakresie. W analizie dyskusji toczącej się na forum instytucji UE wskazano na te pożądane kierunki rozwoju CSR, które zbieżne są z ideą zrównoważonego rozwoju i realizacji Strategii Lizbońskiej. Na tym tle syntetycznie omówiono założenia jednego z rzadziej przez organizacje w Polsce stosowanego instrumentu CSR - normy SA 8000.
