Some model of dynamic crack propagation along an interface between two media

An analytical investigation of dynamic crack propagation along an interface between two media with different mechanical properties is perfomed. Some model of fracture was analyzed. It was constructed under assumption of an ideally smooth contact of crack faces immediately behind the crack tip. Power singularity and angular distributions of the stress singular terms near the crack tip for various combinations of materials and propagation velocities are obtained. Critical propagation velocities are found.

Przedstawiono koncepcję metody oceny stopnia zużycia i aktualnego zapasu nośności elementów kompozytowych, opartą o zależności wywodzące się z teorii niezawodności. Metoda oparta jest o znajomość wartości średniej wytrzymałości resztkowej materiału uszkodzonego i jej odchylenia standardowego. Opisano wyniki badań doświadczalnych, które w dużej mierze potwierdzają przyjęte założenia. Przedstawiono propozycje dalszych prac nad udoskonaleniem przedstawionej metodyki badań.
