W artykule podjęto próbę agregacji danych dotyczących struktury przewozów ładunków na obszarze woj. śląskiego w latach 1989-2001, w układzie gałęziowym, rodzajowym i ilościowym. Przeprowadzona analiza może być podstawą prognozowania skali tych przewozów na lata 2003-2010, transportochłonności woj. Śląskiego oraz potrzebnych przekształceń w zakresie dostępności komunikacyjnej.
The paper describes the approach of aggregation of data on the structure of cargo transportation in the Silesian voivodship in 1989 - 2001. The aggregation types applied are by means of transportation, quantitative and qualitative. The analysis may be the basis for forecasting of the levels of transportation in years 2003 - 2010 of the demand for transportation services in the Silesian voivodship of the necessary restructuring of the transportation availability.
