W artykule przedstawiono pojęcie integracji oraz istotę procesów integracyjnych. W szczególności skoncentrowano się na integracji lokalnego transportu zbiorowego, możliwym zakresie integracji, barierach oraz kierunkach działań określonych w wybranych dokumentach Unii Europejskiej.

The paper presents the notion of integration as well as the core of integration processes. In particular, the focus has been upon the integration of local collective transport, the possible scope of integration, barriers and directions of actions stipulated in selected documents of the EU.
