W liniowym torze pomiarowym o transmitancji K(s), w warunkach wejściowego sygnału x(s) obliczenie maksymalnej wartości błędu sup \D(t) dla t>0 wymaga albo skomplilkowanych analiz, albo symulacji komputerowej. Może ono być zastąpione zmajoryzowanym oszacowaniem opartym na ogół na znacznie prostszym obliczeniu wilkości sup |sD(s) dla s>0 oraz obliczeniu współzcynników rozkładu D(s) na ułamki proste.

The mentioned methods of error calculation can be replaced by relatively simple evaluation based on calculation of the value sup \sD(s)\ for s>0 and application of the calculated of coefficients necessary for expansion of D(s) into partial fractions.
