W artykule przestawiono wyniki badań statystycznych awaryjności generatorów, transformatorów oraz linii napowietrznych w Polsce w okresie 1992-1997 oraz metodologię obliczania kosztów awaryjności i oszacowaną aktualną i prognostyczną wartość jednostkowego kosztu niedostarczonej energii.

Results of statistic investigations of failures of generators, transformers and transmission lines in Poland during the period 1992-1997 as well as the methodology of the calculations of failure costs and estimation of the present prognosis of unit cost of unserved energy are presented in the paper.
