Scharakteryzowano zakres i metodykę terenowych i laboratoryjnych badań parametrów geotechnicznych gruntów niespoistych. Przedstawiono zależności empiryczne między tymi parametrami oraz możliwości ich wykorzystania przy obliczaniu nośności fundamentów bezpośrednich i na palach.

In the paper scope and methodology of in situ and laboratory common tests concerning geotechnical parameters of non-cohesive soils are described. Empirical relations between the parameters and its application for the calculations of bearing capacity of shallow and pile foundations are presented.
