W artykule przedstawiono cel naukowy oraz zakres prac związanych z projektem badawczym realizowanym w Katedrze Budowy Maszyn. Głównym celem projektu jest analiza możliwości monitorowania temperatury narzędzia w strefie skrawania podczas wiercenia na podstawie pomiarów metodami pirometrycznymi, oraz opracowanie metody wyznaczania współczynników emisyjności związanych z bezkontaktowymi pomiarami temperatury składników procesu skrawania.

Article shows a scientific aim and a range of work associated with the research project realized at the Department of Machine Technology. The main aim of the study is the analysis of the possibility of the tool temperature monitoring in the machining zone during the drilling process. This analysis is based on the measurements obtained by using pyrometric methods. The next aim is to develop a method of defining the factors of emissivity connected with non-contact measurements of the temperature of the components of the machining process.
