W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano warunki pracy w górnictwie na tle warunków pracy w Polsce. Przedstawiono stan zatrudnienia w warunkach narażenia w poszczególnych branżach oraz skutki szkodliwości w środowisku pracy ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem górnictwa. Celem artykułu jest również dostarczenie informacji istotnych dla prowadzenia skutecznych działań profilaktycznych przez poszczególne ogniwa służb medycyny pracy.

This article presents the working conditions in mining against the background of the working conditions in Poland. Presented is the employment level against the exposure conditions in the individual trades /lines/ and the effects of harmfulness in the working environment with a particular attention paid to the mining sector. The purpose of this article is also providing the information that is fundamental for conducting effective preventive actions by the individual cells of industrial medicine service systems.
