This article concerns the influence of the chosen needs and personal features of the workers on the safety at work. On the basis of the results of the scientific research on the relationship between personal features of the workers and the safety at work, it was proved that the tests measuring the level of concentration of the particular yariables should be applied in the recruitment processes.
