W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono i omówiono wyniki pomiarów czasu realizacji transferu danych z pamięci masowej do komputera dla dwóch portów USB i FireWire, Zmierzone wartości czasów skonfrontowano z wynikami uzyskanymi na podstawie analizy teoretycznej z artykułu [l j. Porównanie wyznaczonych i zmierzonych wartości czasów umożliwiło wyraźne uwypuklenie zalet i wad portów USB i FireWire.

This article presents and discusses the results of rneasurements of time of the data transfer from mass storage to a computer for USB and FireWire ports. The measured values of the times were confronted with the results estimated in the theoretical analysis in the article [1]. Comparison of estimated and measured values of the times allowed to show the advantages and disadvantages of USB and FireWire ports.
