XIX-wieczna zabudowa szkieletowa Solca Kujawskiego - przyczynek do charakterystyki małomiasteczkowej architektury drewnianej pogranicza Pomorza i Kujaw

A presentation of the first stage of research concerning timber frame structure buildings in the small towns of the Pomerania and Kujawy borderland. Owing to the fact that the majority of the titular constructions was destroyed or considerably transformed, the author based himself only to a slight degree on inventories, and his main source of data were preserved documents of the Construction Police. The study encompasses residential and shop buildings recognised as representative for objects raised in Solec Kujawski from 1830 to 1899. The analysis pertains to their ground plans and the constructions of the timber frame walls; the author also attempted a suitable systematisation. The result of this initial state of research provides premises for an attempt at a wider characteristic of timber frame architecture in the small towns of the examined region.
