Experience in developing and making the detachable joints (DJ) of the liquid-propellants rocket engines (LPRE) lines and components with elastic metal seals is described. DJ requirements, criteria of selection of design, materials and coatings; DJ parts and elastic seals calculation aspects as well as results of integrated studies which have proved the operability, leakproofness and reliability of the developed designs are presented.
