W pracy omówiono praktyczne przykłady wykorzystania teorii stateczności w analizie pracy konstrukcji inżynierskich. Wykazano możliwość zastosowania tych metod w ocenie wzmacniania i modernizacji współczesnych obiektów.

Methods and techniques of stability analysis of structures applicable in the work of building the expert are discussed by the example of stability analyses of selected engineering structures and their elements. Cases of stability analysis of both bar and surface structures are illustrated and discussed. Attention is drawn, amongst others, to the proper modeling of the performance of structures susceptible loss. Conclusions for applications are made.
