Stwierdzono znaczny, wynoszący ponad 40% pracy tarcia, udział skladowej bilansu związanej ze zużyciem tribologicznym.

The article presents the way of investigation of energy balance structure characterises friction and wear of metals. Original research device and method developed by authors are presented. The research of friction of steel 45 results are given as the example. Significant share, above 40% of friction work value, of balance component determined by tribological wear was ascertained.
