Kilka uwag na marginesie monografii bernardyńskiego zespołu klasztornego na Karczówce po Kielcami

The article contains comments about the recently published monographic study dealing with the Baroque former Bernardine monastic complex on Karcz˘wka Hill near Kielce. The author accentuates the significance of the book which presents the results of studied conducted in assorted fields pertaining to the historical complex and surrounding natural environment. An attemp is made to set right errors and imprecision contained in the published papers, and a number of research postulates concerning the church and the monastery is formulated. The author draws attention to the most characteristic features of the complex, which were removed in the course of twentieh-century repair and construction-conservation undertakings. Emphasis is placed on the need for further research into this historical monument, which calls for more careful protection.
