Nowa linia produkcji klinkieru - Chełm III

Opisano sytuację Cementowni Chełm, będącej jednym z największych producentów cementu w Polsce. Stosowana w niej mokra metoda produkcji zużywa jednak dużo energii. W latach osiemdziesiątych przeprowadzono szereg prób, wytyczających kierunki unowocześniania technologii. Modernizacja zakładu miała polegać na wybudowaniu dwóch nowych linii produkcji klinkieru metodą suchą. W II kwartale b.r. zakończone zostały montaż i rozruch nowoczesnej linii produkcyjnej - Cementowni Chełm III i w czerwcu piec został oddany do wstępnej eksploatacji. Podano opis procesu produkcyjnego, omówiono przebieg prac inwestycyjnych, przekształcenia własnościowe i realizowany plan usprawnienia pracy zakładu.

The situation of cement plant Chełm, one of the greatest cement producers in Poland, is described. The wet process technology used in this plant requires however considerable amounts of energy. In eighties a series of tests laying out the course of process upgrading were carried out. The modernization of the plant was supposed to lie in building up of two new dry process clinker produktion lines. In the second quarter this year the erection and the start of a modern production line - cement plant Chełm III have been completed and the kiln has been commissioned. A description of the production process is given and the run of the investment work, proprietary transformations and the programm of rationalization of plant operation are discussed.
