Budowa drogi S3 obejmowała realizację 4 węzłów drogowych, 81 obiektów inżynierskich, 120 przepustów, 2 obwodów utrzymania i 10 miejsc obsługi podróżnych. Spośród obiektów wybudowanych nad drogą S3 opisano cztery - ze względu na ich walory konstrukcyjne i estetyczne. Zwrócono uwagę na problemy estetyki obiektów mostowych i ich wpisania w otaczający krajobraz.
