There are various methods to recovery of valuable bioactive compounds involve in plant wastes, including distillation, extraction and maceration. The selection of suitable method depends on quality and quantity of the compound as well as purity of the obtained product. Advantages and disadvantages of a particular method have been discussed. The possibility of further industrial application of obtained products has been suggested.
