Translating defaults into circumscription

In this paper we present translation scheme of justified and constrained default logic into circumscription. For this purpose we adopt possible world semantics for default theories introduced by Besnard and Schaun in [1]. This translation allows us to represent the common part of all extensions of any finite default theory as the circumscription axiom.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawimy metodę tłumaczenia logiki uzasadnionych I uwarunkowanych domniemań na formalizm zwany otaczaniem. W tym celu posłużymy się semantyką możliwych światów dla teorii domniemań wprowadzoną przez Besnarda i Schauba [1]. Translacja pozwoli nam na reprezentowanie wspólnej części wszystkich rozszerzeń dowolnej skończonej teorii domniemań w postaci aksjomatu otaczania.
