Spożycie napojów alkoholowych wśród pracowników dziewiarskiego województwa katowickiego

Przedstawiono wyniki ankietowego badania spożycia alkoholu wśród kobiet zatrudnionych w przedsiębiorstwie dziewiarskim w województwie katowickim. Porównano oceny poziomu spożycia alkoholu otrzymane dwiema metodami ankietowania: na podstawie pytań dotyczących ostatniej okazji spożywania alkoholu oraz pytań dotyczących częstości spożycia.

The study present the result of survey concerning alcohol consumption among women working in a knitting factory in Katowice voivodship. Two kinds of estimate of the level of alcohol consumption were compared: one based on the question about the last occasion of alcohol drinking, the other one based on frequency-quantity method. The estimates of the level of alcohol consumption based on "the last occasion" method appeared to be significantly higher; the difference was specially well visible I the case of the consumption of vodka. As regards women who drunk exclusively wine, had average income, and who did not drink much during the one occasion the level of alcohol consumption was lower. It should be stressed that considerable part of respondents declared very low level of alcohol consumption. Distribution of the total alcohol consumption as well as the distributions of consumption of specific alcohol beverages in the population under consideration corresponded to the log-normal one.
