Procesy proekologicznej restrukturyzacji gospodarki na przykładzie gminy Bytom

Examples of proecological restructuring of the economy of the Bytom municipality were presented taking advantage of the source statistical data the period 1998-2000. Friendly attitude of people to the natural environment depends on their ecological consciousness. Recent intensive restructuring process of the economy contributes to the increase of unemployment thus negatively inflecting this consciousness on the land. To encourage municipal authorities to implement the principles of sustainable development a proecological social pressure is needed.
