Public-private partnerships as one of the methods of the investment and the provision of public services in Poland begins to play an increasingly important role. The existing legal framework and budgetary considerations make good prospects for the development of PPP market. As is apparent from publicly available studies, public-private partnership is a dynamic form of financing infrastructure and providing public services in Europe and worldwide. Public-private partnership in Poland needs more time to go to the level of a developed market with a stable volume of infrastructure projects. Certainly the key to success is the cooperation of all stakeholders: ministries, local governments and private entities, in order to eliminate the identified barriers to development of public-private partnership.
