Posuchy atmosferyczne w obszarze Nizin Środkowopolskich na przykładzie Gorzowa i Siedlec (1954-2000)

Do oceny okresów posusznych na obszarze Nizin Środkowopolskich w okresie wegetacyjnym wykorzystano metodę ciągów dni bezopadowych Koźmińskiego. W okresie 1954-2000 występowały w roku średnio 1-2 posuchy 11-15-dniowe i jedna posucha 16-20-dniowa. Średnio co dwa lata zdarzały się okresy bezopadowe dłuższe niż 20 dni. Najdłuższy okres bezopadowy trwał 38 dni, a średnio 18-20 dni. Co roku może wystąpić 40-50 dni z posuchą atmosferyczną. Okresy posuszne mogą wystąpić w każdym miesiącu okresu wegetacyjnego.

The Koźmiński method of sequences of days without precipitation has been used for the evalu-ation of dry periods in the region of Central Polish Lowlands. In the period 1954-2000 averagely 1-2 dry periods lasting from 11 to 15 days occurred. In the same period also a dry period lasting 16-20 days happened . On average every two years dry periods that lasted longer than 20 days have been reported. The longest period without precipitation lasted 38 days and the average dry one -18 to 20 days. It is probable that each year 40 to 50 days without precipitation can occur. Dry periods can occur in any month of the growing season.
