Selection of a Balde Material as an Element of Forming Strenght Properties of an Aircraft Engine Turbine
The present paper presents a general discussion considering the selection of a material for structures designed according to the minimum mass criteria. The use of adequate coefficients enabling the comparison of strength properties of materials is proposed. The selection of the material for turbine blades of an aircraft engine on the basis of the selected properties is presented as an example.
W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono ogólne rozważania dotyczącze doboru materiału w konstrukcjach projektowanych na minimum masy. Zaproponowano zastosowanie odpowiednich współczynników umożliwiających porównanie cech wytrzymałościowych materiałów. Jako przykład przedstawiono dobór materiału łopatek turbiny silnika lotniczego na podstawie wybranych włściwości.
