Oil film pressure and temperature of the off-set halves journal bearing

The paper introduces the maximum oil film pressure and temperature of Offset-Halves journal bearing. Generally the multilobe Offset bearings are applied in different types of rotating machines. For an assumed relative length of the bearing, parallel orientation of journal and bearing bush axis, the oil film pressure and temperature distributions and some static characteristics of the bearing have been computed. The calculation were carried out under assumption of adiabatic oil film and static equilibrium position of journal.

Referat przedstawia maksymalne wartości ciśnienia i temperatury w filmie olejowym łożyska ślizgowego z przesuniętymi półpanewkami. Łożyska wielopowierzchniowe tego typu są stosowane w różnych rodzajach maszyn wirujących. Dla założonej względnej długości łożyska i równoległego położenia osi czopa i panewki obliczono rozkłady ciśnienia i temperatury w filmie olejowym oraz wyznaczono pewne charakterystyki statystycznego łożyska. Obliczenia przeprowadzono przy założeniu adiabatycznego filmu olejowego oraz statystycznego położenia równowagi czopa.
