Kable telekomunikacyjne w obiektach podziemnej infrastruktury miejskiej

W Polsce Internet nadal jest wykorzystywany w stosunkowo małym stopniu w porównaniu z innymi krajami unijnymi. Konieczne jest ułożenie tysięcy kilometrów nowych sieci teletechnicznych, do czego można wykorzystać istniejącą miejską infrastrukturę podziemną.

The existing underground urban infrastructure is perfectly suited for the development of information networks, however it is barely used for this purpose, despite the fact that such a solution has been applied successfully for years in the West. Transferring such practices to Poland would decidedly facilitate and speed up improvement of network efficiency and allow access to the internet for a larger group of recipients. The internet is still used in a relatively small degree in Poland, in comparison with other countries of the European Union. The author focuses on the matter of development of information networks and possible methods for their construction.
